Chicago AF is a vibrant, volunteer-led community dedicated to fostering sober connections and transforming the alcohol-free social scene in Chicago. Founded in 2020, our mission is to raise awareness about alcohol addiction and normalize living alcohol-free in today’s society.

We proudly offer an active, diverse, and inclusive environment to everyone choosing to change their relationship with alcohol. Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or seeking support on your alcohol-free journey, Chicago AF invites you to be part of our growing community. We welcome all paths of recovery and sobriety.

  • Every Monday at 7 PM CT, Chicago AF hosts a virtual sobriety support meeting on Zoom.

  • Every Wednesday at 9:15 PM CT, Chicago AF hosts a virtual all men’s meeting on Zoom.

  • All meetings are conducted in a respectful and no-pressure-to-share environment.

Absolutely. We encourage you to explore all forms of support. Our founder is a professionally certified recovery coach and an active member of a 12-step program. She is always happy to chat about any program and help you connect.

Are there membership fees?

No, joining Chicago AF is entirely free, with no membership fees. Some of our events have associated costs, depending on the specific activity.
